There are many indications for Event Recorder Monitoring and Holter Monitoring.

Listed below are only a few indications and most are reimbursable.

If your patients symptoms are transient and fleeting over a period of a few days an Event Recorder is recommended. For ST, QT and HRV analysis a Holter Monitor is best suited. You may also choose to use a Holter Monitor for the first 24 hrs and then apply an Event Recorder to document frequency and duration of arrhythmias.
